Thank you, Dad, for being born! No matter how much of an old fart you become, you will always be one of my greatest heroes! Thank you, Mom, for throwing a great PAR-TAY! Family, food, farts...this is how our family rolls! Ty, Sam and May, we missed you! Ray is so excited about his bragging rights. He still has a clean record of no losses in Whirly Ball!
We enjoyed our weekend in Dallas. Shannon and Doug shared their spa and family resort with us. Doug, you make a mean blackened sausage. Shannon, your Kraft Macaroni & Cheese was only rivaled by your scrumptidlyupmcious sausage and biscuits for breakfast! Kristen, Hannah Beth has been cheering since we walked through the doors! Kahler, Kahler, Kahler! YOU are SO BIG and fun and EXCITING. Allie-Roo, thanks for sharing your way too cool ipod phone, but not a phone thingy with me...you were great with the kids...as always! Hannah Beth had a blast spending the night with her Emily and Uncle Brad. Way too cool!
As our family blew our big brown horns all the way home, we started gearing up for this week. Raymond is having his knee surgery on Wednesday. For my prayer partners, we have to be there by 6:30. The surgery starts at 7:30 and will take approximately 2 1/2 hours. Please pray for peace as surgery is still a very scary thing for him.
Great news! THE CAJUNS ARE COMING! Maw Maw and Paw Paw will be here Tuesday night. If we don't scare Maw Maw off, she will be helping us for 2 whole weeks! We are sooooo excited to spend time with them. I'll share all the funny things they say as the week progresses. They are hilarious!
